  1. Incomplete-career scoring corrected

    Career Composite v2.1 finalized

    Replaced the old fixed #25 fill for unplayed seasons with a career-specific replacement finish just below the player's typical qualified field. Best 3, Best 5, and Best 10 averages now receive 50%, 30%, and 20% window weights. Observed season ranks are unchanged, no era normalization was added, and the pre-registered full-field audit preserves 24 of the prior top 25.

  2. Impact rankings revised

    Lineup evidence model promoted

    Promoted the pre-season shadow model after it passed all 11 validation checks. The lineup adjustment can now reach 1.25 impact points, while players with only one season of lineup evidence receive 75% of the calculated adjustment. The 2025–26 top 25 is unchanged, and the new rule is frozen for the 2026–27 prospective test.

  3. All-time ranking revised

    Career Composite v2

    A full-field robustness audit found that the repeat-No. 1 bonus double-counted peak evidence. It has been removed. The all-time table is now labeled Peak-weighted Career and publishes its effective season weights. The frozen 2025–26 Board is unchanged.

  4. No ranking change

    Evidence and explanations release

    Published the Impact Rate validation scoreboard, replaced repeated Top 25 notes with player-specific explanations, and added 1200×630 social cards. The frozen 2026-final-v1 ranking and model are unchanged.

  5. New permanent edition

    2025–26 final Board frozen

    Created snapshot 2026-final-v1 with the bounded-hybrid-v1-2026-07-21 model and a permanent, citable URL. NBA statistics run through July 14, 2026.

Impact per minute, value across the season

Impact Rate answers who played best while on the court. Season Value adds workload; the percentile shows how a player's total regular-season contribution compares with everyone on this Board.

The likely-rank range shows model uncertainty. A wider range means the exact order is less certain, even when the central estimate is high.
